Big trees, from South London to Australia’s gums

Oliver climbed his first trees at 15 in South London. After his diploma in arboriculture he spent about six years on tree work across the UK, on rail corridors and in people’s gardens.

Then came about seven years on Australia’s big eucalypts. Tall, heavy gums over houses and roads were the everyday work there, and crane-assisted removals were weekly. Taking a tree that size apart in pieces, each one lowered where it should land, is the background behind every big removal the team takes on in Tasman.

Over 10,000 trees for a city council

In New Zealand Oliver has managed over 10,000 trees for a city council. Add the diploma and 16 years of climbing across three countries, and a big gum or pine over a Tasman house is familiar work.

Urban Forest Tree Care in Tasman

Oliver comes out to every quote, meets you at the tree and prices the job. He and the team then do the work: climbing, cutting, lowering, chipping on site and cleaning up.

The work runs right across Tasman District, from Richmond, Hope and Brightwater to Wakefield, Māpua, Motueka, Riwaka and Kaiteriteri.

The reviews keep coming back to the same things: on time, clear communication, safe work and a clean finish.
